Brush Site



The Town of Dunkirk, in partnership with the City of Stoughton, uses the City of Stoughton Brush Site located at 1101 Collins Road.

Season:

       Starts: Saturday, April 6, 2024

       Ends: Tuesday, November 26, 2024

Hours:
Tues & Thurs - 1 pm - 7 pm
Site closes at 6 pm after October 15, 2024

Saturdays - 8 am - 3 pm 

             NOTE: Site may close early due to inclement weather or darkness.


Regulations:
  • All size brush is now accepted at the site and is dumped in a designated spot.
  • Yard Waste is defined as grass, leaves, garden waste, plant debris and wood products that are less than 1/4 inch in diameter (size of #2 pencil) & 6 inches in length.
  • No manufactured wood products will be accepted i.e. boards, timbers
  • Bags/Containers contents will be emptied onto the ground in a designated area and retained by user for reuse or dispose of them in the marked container on site.
  • No illegal dumping will be permitted.
  • The site may not be used by Commercial Contractors.
  • Boards are not accepted at the brush site
