Special Meeting Minutes

March 12, 2023

Chairman Monsen called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.  Also present were Supervisor Ted Olson, Supervisor Jenks and Clerk Kathy Olson. 

Discussion and Action on Dunkirk Park needs: Went thru list provided by Parks Committee on the needs of all Dunkirk Parks.  Both Chairman Monsen & Eric Moe talked to Stoughton Rec. about using two new parks in Stoughton for the soccer league. 

Review recommendations of Dunkirk Park Committee: Board discussed asking SAYSA to reduce they practice days to three at both Ash Lane & Pleasant View opposed to the four days at Ash Lane currently listed.

Board suggested getting the Planning Commission involved in the discussions.

Discussed obtaining times of games so we can post on our website & Facebook.

Discussed emergency needs on Park Committee list, was noted that as time allows have road crew work on replacement of baby/toddler swings, possible take down of slide and looking onto turning tennis court into a pickle ball court.  Also requested more residents in area should be involved in Parks Committee to get a broader view.

  Adjournment:   No further business, Supervisor Olson stated a close to the meeting at 6:13 p.m.
