Dunkirk's ambulance services are provided by the Stoughton EMS department. For non-emergency issues, call the Stoughton EMS Department at (608) 873-6500.

Animal Control

In case of an emergency, call 911.

This includes when stray pets or wild animals are threatening the safety of a person.
If you are concerned about a stray animal or wild animal that is sick, injured, or vicious, contact the Dane County Sheriff's Department non-emergency number at (608) 255-2345. They will dispatch a Humane Officer from the Dane County Humane Society.

If you see a pet at large, contact Constable Greg Holte at (608) 873-0381.

If you have any general questions or concerns about animals, call the Dane County Humane Society at (608) 838-0413.
