Comprehensive Plan Committee

The ten-member Dunkirk Comprehensive Plan Committee was assembled in April 2024 to review and update the 2006 Dunkirk Comprehensive Plan. The Town adopted its initial Comprehensive Plan in compliance with Wisconsin State Statute s.66.1001, aided by Dane County Planning and Development. Guided by public input through surveys and meetings, this plan establishes Dunkirk’s vision to manage growth over the next twenty years.

As of June 2026, the update is close to completion. With the oversight of Dane County Planning and Development the committee has reviewed and rewritten the nine required elements outlined by the county.
