Plan Commission

The Town Plan Commission consists of five appointed members responsible for reviewing petitions for land zoning changes and conditional use permits. The Town Plan Commission is an advisory body that makes recommendations to the Town Board. The Town Board makes final decisions about petitions.

Plan Commission and Town Board decisions are based on the Town of Dunkirk Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Copies of the Comprehensive Land use plan can be viewed digitally on this website. Printed copies may be viewed at the Dunkirk Town Hall, the Stoughton Public Library, and the Edgerton Public Library. Copies can be purchased from the Town Clerk.

The Dunkirk Plan Commission regularly meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Dunkirk Town Hall, 654 County Road N. The Plan Commission welcomes the public to its meetings.

Agendas for each meeting are posted outside the Town Hall at least 24 hours prior to the next Plan Commission meeting as well as online
