Park Development Bids

ADVERTISEMENT TO BID 

March 19, 2025 

The Town of Dunkirk is soliciting Bids for the proposed park development and related  improvements at Lyons Park. Bids will be received until 3:00 PM, April 11, 2025. Bids will be  opened and read aloud.  

PROJECT SCOPE: 

The project scope includes but not limited to: demolition, earthwork, erosion control, concrete,  landscape boulders, furnish and installation of a modular floating kayak launch, and site  restoration. 

BID SUBMITTAL: 

Bids for “Dunkirk Dam Craft Access Plan.” shall be submitted to the Town by the date and time  specified. All bids shall be addressed to Norm Monson, 654 County Road N, Stoughton, WI 53589,  and shall be enclosed with the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid  is being submitted on the outside of the sealed envelope. The OWNER reserves the right to waive  any informalities and to reject any or all Bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to  the provisions of Sections 61.54, 66.0901 and 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes. 

BID DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY: 

Digital bid documents may be obtained from the Town for no charge. Contact the Village Clerk at  clerk@townofdunkirk.com for a PDF copy of the documents. 

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: 

There will be no pre-bid conference for this project. Contractor questions may be directed to  Parkitecture + Planning, 608-203.8203 

QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: 

Contractors must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with municipal park projects, or similar  experience. References of winning bidder shall be verified by A/E. 

SCHEDULE: 

Selection of final bid is at the sole discretion of the OWNER, and shall reserve the right to waive  irregularities should it be needed. All Bids shall remain valid for 60 days after bid opening.
